Closing the Door on Our First Year

Closing the Door on Our First Year

And Looking Forward to New Friends, Features and a Bright Future

Our first year is almost in the books.  My, what a year it has been!  We first launched Idea Hunt back in February and it feels like we’ve been running full speed ahead from that first day forward.  Since February of 2016, we have gained over 6,500 global users, hosted almost 700 hunts, collected over 4,000 ideas, connected with passionate ambassadors and founding members, and hired a team of 8 people.  Did you catch that? We’ve added an additional two new members to our team.

We’d like to introduce you to Linus Andersson and Anton Hedström, our new in-house developers!  Both Linus and Anton come to us with a number of years of experience in software development and share our passion for innovation.  Both currently live and work in Linkoping, Sweden.

With the addition of Anton and Linus, we are able to bring much of our development in-house, meaning that we are able to do even more with the platform for both our premium clients and our freemium users.  2017 is going to be filled with growth: new features and functionality, new users, and new ambassador program.

We are thrilled to have Linus and Anton Join Us.  Please help us give them a warm welcome!

Linus Andersson

With experience from Ericsson, and starting his own business, Linus has a wealth of great experience.  Linus was introduced to software development by his father a young age, when the two of them worked together on his first program in Microsoft Publisher.  In addition to working in software development, Linus enjoys photography, a number of different sports including squash and developing his own home automation system.

Anton Hedström

A graduate of Linkoping University, Anton comes to Idea Hunt with his Master’s Degree in Computer Science.  Like Linus, his interest in software development however, started in his early teens. Anton’s not all business though.  He enjoys running, swimming and getting outdoors in his spare time.
